Description

HJEM is a strange and vaguely sinister rhythm-based puzzle game where everything is in thrall to the music. Beyond its name the game contains no words, just original synthwave music and hazy neon visuals, so the player has to deduce what the game wants from them in order to progress. History

HJEM was a Global Game Jam 2019 (#GGJ19) project which started out with a simple idea: to create a rhythm-based puzzle game with a twist. What resulted was a game which was inspired games like Tetris or Puyo Puyo, if those games had been squeezed through a synthwave filter. In total we expect it to take the average player about 30 minutes to complete.
